Area ID Search

The Area ID Search feature is available for TrackAdmin users with the Enterprise Administrator, Site Administrator, or Support profile.

 

When TrackAdmin users assign the areas to the Track user accounts, it is time consuming to scroll through a long area ID listing to locate a specific area ID. Having the Area ID Search feature in the TrackAdmin application improves the users' productivity when creating Track user accounts, updating the user access to certain areas, and managing the area groups.

 

Understand the Area ID Search Feature

In the TrackAdmin application, the Area ID Search feature is available for the users to locate specific area IDs. This feature is available on three different screens to limit the area IDs displayed in the grid.

 

 

Perform the Area ID Search

When performing an area ID search, TrackAdmin users can enter alpha-numeric characters into the Search Area text box to display the area IDs according to the search criteria. After selecting or deselecting the area IDs, they can repeat the steps to search for additional area IDs with different alpha-numeric characters until the area ID selection and deselection are completed.
